Landscape Architecture Employment at EDG — What the Work Looks Like
Landscape architects at Evergreen Design Group are primary production professionals responsible for complete construction document packages across a multi-sector project portfolio. This is technically precise, deadline-driven work for clients who need drawings that clear jurisdictional review on the first submission.
Day-to-day landscape architecture jobs at EDG include:
- Tree disposition plans — existing tree surveys, preservation strategies, and mitigation documentation
- Planting plans — species selection, spacing layouts, and CAD drafting coordinated against civil grading, utility plans, and site-specific regulatory requirements
- Irrigation design — point-of-connection calculations, head layout, controller scheduling, and jurisdictional compliance documentation
- Community amenity and recreation design — pool decks, clubhouses, fitness courts, outdoor dining environments, and passive recreation areas
- Hardscape design — plazas, courtyards, pedestrian circulation, and entry features across commercial and civic project types
- Land planning — site analysis, program organization, phasing plans, and multi-discipline coordination

We hire RLA’s with demonstrated production experience across commercial, institutional, or mixed-use project types. The ideal candidate is self-directed, proficient in AutoCAD, and capable of managing multiple simultaneous project deliverables without close supervision.
We actively look for:
- Active RLA licensure — multi-state registration is a significant advantage given our 40+ state footprint
- Production experience in one or more of EDG's sectors: retail, mixed use, healthcare, hospitality, recreation, education, civic, industrial, or residential development
- AutoCAD proficiency; working knowledge of planting palettes across multiple climate zones

ASLA membership is welcome but not required. What we care about is your ability to produce accurate, complete construction documents that clear jurisdictional review on first submission.
